Brielle is a dynamic lacrosse coach and former collegiate standout who brings exceptional playing experience to the Bay Area lacrosse community.

A New Jersey native, she distinguished herself as team captain and elite attacker at Chatham University, recording 68 goals and 54 assists while earning All-President's Athletic Conference honors and maintaining Dean's List academic standards.

 

After completing her Master's degree in Biological Science at Dominican University in San Rafael, Brielle transitioned into coaching, currently coaching for San Francisco Riptide and leading the JV program at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School.

Makenna brings a deep-rooted passion for lacrosse and holistic player development to the Fog City community.

 

A standout defender who helped San Ramon Valley achieve a perfect season and CIF championship, she continued her excellence at San Diego State University, starting 28 of 29 games across three seasons while earning SDSU Scholar-Athlete recognition for four consecutive semesters.

 

In a courageous decision, Makenna stepped away from collegiate play in her senior year to prioritize her mental health, an experience that has enriched her coaching perspective and emphasizes balancing athletic achievement with personal wellness.

 

Now pursuing her Master's in Education, she brings a holistic approach to developing well-rounded individuals who understand the valuable life lessons that sports can teach.

Chyler is a tenacious defender who represents the very best of San Francisco lacrosse talent.

 

A graduate of Saint Ignatius, where she was a three-year letterwinner, she brought her Bay Area game to Saint Francis University, where she served as team captain and earned first team all-conference honors in 2025.

 

Chyler ended her collegiate career having made her mark on the Red Flash career leaderboards, ranking #4 in career draw controls, #5 in career ground balls, and #9 in career caused turnovers—becoming only the fourth player in program history to finish in the top 10 in all three categories.

 

Now back in the Bay Area, Chyler brings her collegiate experience and deep understanding of the game to developing the next generation of local lacrosse talent.

Erin brings elite defensive expertise and Ivy League leadership to Fog City, representing the multisport and academic excellence central to our program philosophy.

A three-sport standout in lacrosse, tennis, and water polo at Foothill High School, she earned US Lacrosse All-American recognition before taking her talents to Brown University, where she became a standout defender in the Ivy League.

Across just two full seasons with the Bears—her sophomore year was truncated and the Ivy League canceled the entire 2021 season due to COVID—Erin started 36 of 37 games and compiled an impressive 48 ground balls, 47 caused turnovers, and 59 draw controls. Her senior year was particularly outstanding, earning All-Ivy League Second Team honors while leading Brown with 21 ground balls and 18 caused turnovers, building on her Honorable Mention All-Ivy recognition as a freshman.

A 2022 Brown graduate with IWLCA Academic Honor Roll distinction, Erin's combination of athletic versatility and defensive mastery perfectly aligns with Fog City's commitment to developing complete student-athletes.

Maggie brings a strong foundation of defensive excellence, academic achievement, and well-rounded athleticism to the Fog City lacrosse community, having grown up as the kind of multisport student athlete that embodies our core ethos.

A dedicated defender who earned team captain honors at Catonsville High School in Maryland, she helped lead the Comets to two Baltimore County 4A championship runner-up finishes while being recognized with both the Sportsmanship Award and Golden Whistle Award for her leadership as the team's best student "assistant coach."

At San Diego State University, Maggie continued her impact as a reliable defensive presence, appearing in 45 games throughout her career and finishing with 2 goals, an assist, 33 ground balls, and 17 caused turnovers. Her commitment to excellence extended beyond the field, as she earned IWLCA Academic Honor Roll recognition, SDSU Scholar-Athlete honors, and was a MPSF All-Academic Team selection.

A 2023 SDSU graduate, Maggie's multisport background in lacrosse, field hockey, and track exemplifies the kind of well-rounded athlete Fog City looks to foster, giving her a comprehensive understanding of athletic development and the discipline required to excel both competitively and academically.

Siena embodies the balance between athletic dedication and scholarly achievement.

A four-year starter at Lakeridge High School, she scored 200 career points while earning her school's Jim Putnam Award for Academic and Athletic Excellence. Beyond lacrosse, she demonstrated versatility as a three-year cross country athlete and leader, serving as Associated Student Body Philanthropy Director.

At UC Berkeley, Siena appeared in six games over three seasons while earning Pac-12 Spring Academic Honor Roll honors twice, highlighting her commitment to excellence in the classroom. 

Her experience as a student-athlete at a top academic institution has shaped her understanding of the discipline, time management, and resilience required to succeed both on the field and in life—lessons she's eager to share with the next generation of players at Fog City.

Mk McDonough

Director

MK McDonough brings her passion for lacrosse and dedication to player development to her role as Director of Fog City Girls Lacrosse Club.

An Upstate New York native, MK's lacrosse journey began in 8th grade, finding her calling as a goalie the following year. Her drive and dedication to the sport led her to Princeton University, where she played from 2014 to 2018. At Princeton, MK had the privilege of contributing to a top-10 powerhouse program led by Hall of Fame coach Chris Sailer. During her time in New Jersey, MK helped the Tigers to four consecutive Ivy League regular season championships (2015-2018), three Ivy League Tournament titles (2015, 2017, 2018), four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances, and two Elite Eight finishes.

Inspired by her coaches and collegiate experiences, MK began coaching in addition to her full time job after moving to San Francisco in July 2018. In April 2023, she became Head Coach at St. Ignatius College Preparatory School, guiding the Wildcats to their first-ever national ranking (#25) alongside her staff in her first full season at the helm (2024). During her tenure as SI head coach, MK has coached 8 USA Lacrosse All Americans, 5 USA Lacrosse Academic All Americans, and 5 League MVPs. Before starting Fog City, MK led graduation year 2025 and 2026 teams to a 68-18-8 combined record and multiple national top ten rankings over five years of club coaching.

At Fog City Girls Lacrosse Club, MK combines her competitive drive and understanding of the game to create a supportive environment where young athletes can thrive both on and off the field.

Suzy Emerson

Assistant Director

Suzy Emerson brings exceptional lacrosse experience and an unwavering commitment to youth development to her role as Assistant Director of Fog City Girls Lacrosse Club.

A native of Bellevue, Washington, Suzy's high school lacrosse journey included back-to-back state championships, All-America honors in 2014 and 2015 and a 28-game winning streak. Her talent landed her to Stanford University, where she continued to hone her skills and understanding of the game at the collegiate level.

 

Since then, Suzy has made a significant impact on youth lacrosse in the Bay Area, guiding graduation year 2026 and 2027 club teams to an impressive 50-14-11 combined record. At Fog City, Suzy leverages her playing expertise and coaching acumen to foster an environment where young athletes can excel in lacrosse and develop invaluable life skills.

Haley is an athletic and dynamic goalkeeper from Petaluma who brings exceptional work ethic and elite-level experience to every aspect of her game.

A standout three-year starter at Saint Ignatius, she graduated at the top of her class while earning USA Lacrosse All Academic honors and serving as co-captain, leading the Wildcats to their third straight CCS Division 1 title and WBAL championship while earning WBAL 1st Team recognition. 

This success translated seamlessly to Niagara University, where she earned All-MAAC Rookie Team honors after starting all 18 games and recording 165 saves in her freshman campaign. Haley returns to the Bay Area with a wealth of high-level experience and a passion for developing the next generation of elite goalkeepers.

A three-year varsity starter and senior captain, Chloe amassed 125 career points while leading the St. Ignatius Wildcats in assists in both 2023 and 2024, earning First Team All-League WBAL honors  and helping the Wildcats capture their third straight CCS championship in 2024. Her leadership both on and off the field was recognized with the team's Wildcat Award, given to the player who best represents what it means to be a St. Ignatius women's lacrosse player. 

At Lehigh University, Chloe made an immediate impact in her freshman season, earning Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors in March 2025 and bringing her elite vision and playmaking ability to the Division I level. 

Back in the Bay Area for the summer, she combines her record-setting high school achievements with collegiate experience to mentor the next generation of California midfielders.

Dakota is an elite defensive midfielder. A standout at Saint Ignatius, she earned WBAL Defender of the Year honors and USA Lacrosse All-American recognition her senior year while being named to Inside Lacrosse Women's Top 100 Incoming Freshmen list.

She has brought her game-changing ability to Penn State, where she now competes at the Division I level for the Nittany Lions as a defensive midfielder

 

Dakota brings this elite experience and proven track record of excellence back to the Bay Area for the summer, where she combines her high-level collegiate insights with her championship pedigree to develop the next generation of defensive midfielders who aspire to compete at the highest levels of the game.

Kate is a versatile defender who brings ample championship experience to her coaching role with Fog City.

After helping her team capture a Texas Girls High School Lacrosse League Division 1 Championship and earning Central Texas All-League honors her freshman year, Kate joined the Saint Ignatius Wildcats where she continued her winning ways, earning second team all-league recognition as a senior while helping the Wildcats capture both the WBAL Championship and their third CCS Championship. 

Now competing at the Division I level for the Michigan Wolverines, Kate returns to the Bay Area for the summer to share her unique perspective shaped by championship experiences across multiple competitive lacrosse landscapes, bringing both her current collegiate insights and proven ability to adapt and excel at the highest levels to developing the next generation of defenders.

Chase is a prolific attacker and pure goal scorer who brings elite offensive production to every game.

A four-year varsity player and team captain at Saint Ignatius, she capped off her stellar high school career with a dominant 58-point senior season while earning WBAL 1st Team All-League honors and finishing with 134 career points.

 

Now heading to Colgate University to continue her career at the Division I level, Chase brings her relentless pursuit of offensive excellence and proven ability to perform against top-level competition to help develop the next generation of elite attackers.

Margaret is an exceptional defender and natural leader who embodies the true spirit of lacrosse through her commitment to service, mentorship, and community impact.

 

A team captain at Saint Ignatius and two-time Honorable Mention All-WBAL player, Margaret's impact has extended far beyond the field through her role as a Kairos Leader and active Campus Ministry participant, her weekly dedication to serving meals in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood through Comfort Run, and her National Charity League Modelette Award for donating over 3,000 essential items to a homeless prenatal home.

 

Now continuing her career at the Division I level at William & Mary, Margaret brings her exceptional character and leadership to the collegiate stage while spending her summers back in the Bay Area, where she doesn't just teach lacrosse skills—she models the character and sportsmanship that creates lifelong athletes, seamlessly integrating her roles as defender, leader, community servant, and mentor to young players who benefit from her unique combination of athletic excellence and genuine care for others.

Annie is an elite defender and proven leader who has established herself as one of the premier defensive players in the Bay Area.

A team captain at Saint Ignatius in 2025, she earned 2nd Team All-League honors while capping off an impressive career that included 1st Team All-League WBAL and All-American Watchlist recognition in 2024 and 2nd Team All-League WBAL honors in 2023.

Continuing her career at the Division I level at Bucknell University, Annie brings her championship experience, proven leadership, and elite defensive skills to the collegiate stage while spending her summers in the Bay Area, sharing her expertise with the next generation of defenders who aspire to reach the highest levels of the game.
